This Saturday, June 7th, the People of Aragua participated in grassroots meetings in the 1,799 communities of the entity's 18 municipalities to nominate candidates for mayors and municipal councils, reaffirming the nature of participatory and leading democracy that exists throughout the country.
An atmosphere of harmony, camaraderie, joy and a deep revolutionary feeling prevailed at every meeting point. The people of Aragüeña and Aragüeñas, with great citizenship, exercised their right to propose the leaders they consider ideal to represent them in the next elections.

The popular mobilization evidenced the commitment of communities to the political process and to the collective construction of the entity's future. The assemblies were held in an organized and transparent manner, allowing the voice of the people to be heard clearly and decisively in the selection of their postulates.
This day not only strengthens the internal structure of the PSUV, but also highlights the vitality of grassroots democracy in the state of Aragua, where citizen participation becomes the fundamental pillar for decision-making and the configuration of future local authorities.
