President Maduro: The exercise of leadership must change to build true democracy

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, pointed out that it is necessary to “change the exercise of leadership to build true democracy.”

This was stated on the day of activation of Q5 and delivery of resources to projects approved in a popular consultation held this Wednesday, February 5.

“We have to change the methods, structures and exercise of leadership so that it is aimed at awakening the people, protecting them and obeying them in order to build the true democracy that is Popular Power, it is the organized People,” he said.

He added that the new leadership must work hand in hand with the cultured, educated and together people in a national way, to the same extent that it works at the regional and local levels.
