President Maduro: “Venezuela, with firm steps and every goal, is moving towards its first World Cup 2026"

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated the victory achieved by the national soccer team 2-0 against Bolivia, on the 16th date of the South American qualifiers for the 2026 soccer world cup, which will be played in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

“Vinotinto won and liked it! Exciting game, Boys! Venezuela, with firm steps and every goal, advances towards its first World Cup 2026, in Mexico, Canada and the United States. Department of State,” wrote the President on his account on the social network Telegram.

The President added: “Together with our national team, we celebrate this important victory that, without a doubt, is an inspiration for the whole country. Let's go ahead! Our World Cup is closer!”
