President of the PSUV: We are going to found and activate the communal teams of the red awning

The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, announced that starting this year the formation and activation of the communal brigades of the red awning will take place.

At the close of the Plenary of the Extraordinary Congress of the PSUV and JPSUV, he stressed that “it must become an immediate plan in the 5,334 communal circuits that have been constituted today; this means that we will have bosses, bosses and teams in the streets, in all the streets of the country, a total of 276,000 streets”.

“We are going to create teams to promote from a social, neighborhood and programmatic point of view and promote the development of instances of popular power in all existing communal circuits and communes in the country to learn from the neighbors and the people, in addition to supporting the processes of empowerment and expanding the authentic leadership that the Venezuelan community movement has raised,” he said.
