Rander Peña assumed vice-presidency of the Venezuelan Chess Federation

Through his Telegram channel, the Deputy Minister for Latin America, Rander Peña, announced his appointment as vice-president of the Venezuelan Chess Federation.
“Thank you so much! Today I take up with honor the position of
Vice President of the Venezuelan Chess Federation. This is not a
personal achievement, but an opportunity to serve the sport we are passionate about,”
he said, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening this sport in the
country.
He specified his intention to work together with
associations, clubs and players to promote chess in Venezuela. “More
tournaments, better training and international projection,” he said.
“Let every move we make be worthwhile, let's take Venezuelan
chess to the next level. The board is ready, let's play this
game together!” , said Peña, who reiterated his commitment to the growth
and consolidation of this sport.
