Representatives of Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela meet to define agenda for the 20th anniversary of ALBA-TCP

Within the framework of the consolidation of ties of brotherhood and cooperation between Latin American and Caribbean countries, the ambassadors to Angola of Cuba, Oscar León González; Nicaragua, Carlos Suárez and Venezuela, Belén T. Orsini Pic, held a meeting with the objective of advancing a joint agenda, in view of the commemoration of the twentieth anniversary of the Bolivarian Alliance of the Peoples of Our America- Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), to be held on December 14.

This meeting, held in Luanda, testifies to the unwavering commitment of Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela to the principles of unity, cooperation and defense of sovereignty, since the founding of ALBA-TCP by Commanders Fidel Castro and Hugo Chávez.

During the meeting, the diplomats reflected on the current geopolitical reality and the dignity with which their leaders have faced the advance of fascism in the region, guided by the ideals of Bolívar, Martí and Sandino, and agreed that the next 20th anniversary of ALBA-TCP represents a historic opportunity to reaffirm the achievements achieved in the field of political, economic and social cooperation, as well as to reinforce, defend and disseminate unity, peace and justice social, the supportive and complementary exchange between peoples and the construction of the multipolar world that the unionist bloc defends as sovereign nations.
