Security contingent ready to protect Tourism Fair in Anzoátegui

More than 750 security officials will be deployed in the northern area of Anzoátegui state to ensure safety at the Anzoátegui Tourism Fair 2024, its third edition, which will be held at Paseo de la Cruz y el Mar, in Puerto La Cruz.

In a regional press release, the government reported that the security system involves more than 750 officials, men and women, of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and citizen security agencies, such as regional police, municipal police and Civil Protection, among others. The distribution of human and material resources will take place between September 6 and 8, during the event that this is dedicated to the Virgin of the Valley and which this year has the state of La Guaira as its guest of honor. Around 150 teams and 170 means of transport constitute the strength of the operation, including vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and patrol boats.

The state will be supported by the surveillance system through the drone unit of the state police, which reinforces the video surveillance system installed and operating 24 hours a day on the coastal axis of the city of Buenos Aires.
