This Thursday, the third day of the Opening Tournament of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League) kicks off with the match between Estudiantes de Mérida and Monagas Sport Club.

The Andean team will host the Oriental club at the Metropolitan Stadium in Mérida at 7:30 in the evening.

The Merideños are coming off Zamora FC in Barinas. While the Guerreros del Guarapiche fell at home to Deportivo Táchira in the local league and in the Copa Libertadores they defeated the Uruguayan team Defensor Sporting.

For its part, on Friday, February 7, Portuguesa FC will host Zamora FC at its home, at the José Antonio Páez stadium in Acarigua, at 7 p.m.

The rest of the duels are the third date to be played between Saturday and Sunday.
