This Thursday, FILVEN arrives in Yaracuy and Sucre

This Thursday, February 6th, the 20th edition of the Venezuelan International Book Fair (Filven) opens simultaneously in the states of Sucre and Yaracuy.
This was reported by the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture in a press release where it added that under the slogan Leer Transforma, in Sucre, it will be installed in the Historic Center of Cumaná, in the Sucre municipality, while in Yaracuy, it will be in Plaza Bolívar de Yaritagua, Peña municipality.
Literary novelties include the editions of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture through The Dog and the Frog, Monte Avila and the Ayacucho Library. In addition, there will be book presentations, talks, conferences, workshops and various cultural expressions. Girls, boys and teenagers will have the traditional children 's and youth ward.
In the state of Sucre, tribute will be paid to the writers Amílcar Figueroa and Norys Alfonzo, while in Yaracuy, Belky Montilla and Neri Carvallo will be honored. The 20th edition of FILVEN pays tribute to South Africa as a guest of honor, to the national writer Benito Yrady, to the Ayacucho Library for its 50 years, to the magazine Tricolor for its 75 years and to the novel Ifigenia, by Teresa de la Parra, for the centenary of its publication.
