Venezuela and Russia reaffirm ties, brotherhood and commitment to the Strategic Cooperation Agreement

The Foreign Minister of Venezuela, Yván Gil, held a meeting with the Russian ambassador accredited to the country, Sergey Mélik-Bagdasárov, with the objective of reaffirming the ties of brotherhood and commitment to the Cooperation and Strategic Partnership Agreement signed by presidents Nicolás Maduro and Vladimir Putin in May.
The information was released through a post by Gil on his Telegram channel, where he explained that “this agreement lays the foundations for strengthening our alliances in the political, economic, commercial, legal, cultural and technological spheres”.
The relations between Caracas and Moscow, which arrived last March 80 years after their formal establishment, are characterized by solidarity, adherence to the principles of the United Nations Charter and their collaboration in the construction of an emerging polycentric world order.
