Starting in August of this year, charter flights from the Russian Federation will be reactivated, announced the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, who indicated that an agreement has been signed between the tour operators Venezolana de Turismo (VENETUR) and Pegas Touristk.

The owner of the said portfolio explained that this three-year agreement includes a flight every seven days with a capacity of 430 tourists, who will visit destinations such as Margarita Island, Canaima and eastern Venezuela.

He also assured that these alliances are the product of the policies of action that the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, promotes with sister nations through Motor Tourism.

In turn, Gómez indicated that a total of 15,480 Russian travelers will visit the country this year.
