Venezuela-China Parliamentary Group builds alliances for the country's development

At the meeting, experiences were exchanged on legislative work.

This Friday, April 26, the board of directors of the Venezuela-China Parliamentary Friendship Group (GAP) held several meetings in Shanghai, in order to build strategic alliances for the country's development.

The information was provided by the president of the legislative body, deputy Nicolás Maduro Guerra, from Shanghai, who explained that the GAP has been in China since last Monday, April 22, and they have held meetings with authorities of the National People's Assembly, with whom they exchanged experiences on legislative work and how the Chinese Parliament adapted and reformed laws to guarantee the opening and economic growth achieved in recent years 40 years old.

In a press release from the AN, Maduro Guerra explained that they visited Peking University, considered to be one of the most prestigious in all of Asia, in order to strengthen academic relations with China and bring more agreements and development opportunities to students and universities in Venezuela.

He added that later, they accompanied the Minister of the People's Power for Agricultural Production and Lands, Wilmar Castro Soteldo, to a meeting with businessmen from the province of Shandong.

He specified that this Friday, the 26th, they held an activity with representatives of the Shanghai Provincial Assembly, where laws are consulted with the people. “Venezuela and China will be successful for their future of prosperity.

Among other working meetings held by the GAP in the Asian nation, the meeting with the vice-president of the Standing Committee of the National People's Assembly, authorities from the Taihe, the Institute for Latin American Studies, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences stands out; in addition to the meeting with the parliamentarians of the China-Venezuela GAP.

For the Venezuelan GAP, deputies María Carolina Chávez, Rodolfo Sanz, Fidel Madroñero, Gina Hung and José Gregorio Correa are taking part in the tour, as well as the governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis José Marcano.
