The Cardenales de Lara team, representing Venezuela, will play for third place in the 2025 Caribbean Series against Indios de Mayaguez de Puerto Rico.
Venezuela failed to reach the final of the Caribbean Series after falling in the semifinals 5-4 to the Lions of the Chosen One, representing the Dominican Republic.
It was a very close match that culminated in extrainning, when in the eleventh chapter Sócrates Brito hit a double that drove the race of difference and victory for Dominicana.
