Vice President Rodríguez: The victory of May 25 is the reaffirmation of what we are as a people

The executive vice-president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during the swearing in of the governor of the Portuguese state, Primitivo Cedeño, assured that the victory of the Revolutionary Forces on May 25 “marked a milestone in our political history, because it is the reaffirmation of what we are as a people, of our identity, of our culture and of our integrity as a state, as country and as a territory.

From Guanare, capital of Portuguesa, the vice-president indicated that the re-election of Cedeño “is a reaffirmation of political justice and popular justice, it is the recognition that you have given to this noble man, to this humble man to continue to lead the reins of the Portuguese state”.

He also indicated that the electoral process “has left lessons for our people and has also left lessons for other countries and peoples of the world”, because while “extremism and fascism tried to disturb and make impossible, the people of Venezuela bet on peace.”

Finally, he specified that the revolutionary victory of May 25 ratifies the project inherited from Commander Chávez and our Liberators .
