Zulianos nominated their candidates in popular assemblies

This Saturday, June 7th, the organized people of the state of Zulia actively participated in the popular assemblies of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) to nominate their candidates for municipal elections.

In this sense, from the Luis Hurtado Higuera parish, the community highlighted the importance of this consultative process to the grassroots because it highlights the participatory and leading democracy that exists in Venezuela.

They also highlighted that the process was carried out in harmony and with a great participation of the entire community.

It is important to remember that from these Base Assemblies the standard-bearers of the Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole will emerge for the elections called by the National Electoral Council for July 27, in which mayors and councilors will be elected.
